The Work/Life Desk Audit project is designed to provide an overall comparison of how an organization’s work-life programs, policies, practices and benefits compare to best practices and identification of opportunities to strengthen the organization’s total rewards strategy and status as an employer of choice. And, it is possible to focus on the entire organization or specific locations worldwide.
How Does it Work?
The organization identifies and assembles all relevant data requested by WFD including but not limited to: demographic data; work-life policies and programs; policy/program utilization; recruitment; retention; flexibility, wellness, talent management, and employee satisfaction.
WFD reviews and analyzes the data and prepares a summary report of key learnings, comparison against “best practices” (where available), implications for strategic planning, and areas for further investigation and learning. Interviews with key staff concerning the organization's goals and objectives are conducted.
The desired outcome is to provide all the data needed for the organization to understand the current state of work-life and to provide concrete programmatic and policy recommendations to increase employee engagement, recruitment and retention of talent and enhance the organization’s internal and external brand recognition as an employer of choice.
